you really illustrated the meaning well, and i'm not just talking about the empty speech bubbles. the shading and how her glance is averted really brings it out.

i know how it's weird that it's so close, and even if you're nervous, you're going to do fine. :) just keep going forward!

anyhoo, great work, as per usual. :D

yeah, i had my first day of orientation, and i didn't really connect with anyone... i just feel really empty about it. and my situation makes me feel so alone even though i live right here. it's weird.

but it's only been day one so far...

oh man, the same thing happened to me. the same exact thing, when i was at early registration last month. but yes, as you said, it's only day one. :) keep at it, there're people to befriend there somewhere (hiding?)!

Such a strong state of mind, feels so muted and trapped. Makes me want to write stuff like this; lets sink in silence, in words with no meaning. drift under waves of change, like an everyday spring cleaning, of the mind. whoa. I really feel for her expression, now it makes me want to say things will get better, like a phillips commercial. I think you'll really enjoy this school once you get well grounded. It all takes time :boing:

i love the color of the envelope you drew this on, the image has a really strong feeling of apathy, emptiness (title matches perfectly).it's pretty freakin good for a doodle because it can really convey emotion so powerfully, ... i dunno, the power of it's pwerlessness is freakin me out a lil!
