sometimes if you can't think of a good title, it's best to go literal. otherwise it might sound like you're trying too hard.
i love love love this paper. when i first picked up this book at whatever house sale it was, i knew i had to have it. sure yellowed regular paper is nice but sometimes i need something with more character.
this was the very first drawing i did for the calendar. just felt like drawin' a girl with a kitty. lately one of my cats likes to sleep on my arm, which results in annoying numbness... ah well. can't resist cuddling with my kitties.
red/brown micron pen, colored pencil, old book
you can buy the calendar in two places:

The paper in the background here reminds me of 60's-70's wallpaper somehow, and that makes the piece look all the more from that era, as if a photograph from then.
I know the feeling, but I'm a bit of a bitch and just tend to turf my cat off my lap when she's blocking the keys on the keyboard.
That kitty is so very cute, and the girl is too! Though she looks a wee bit uncomfortable, as if she wants to shift her position slightly, but she knows she can't or the baby will wake!
You have cats?
Lucky you, I can't my family hates cats with no reason, they say cats are dangerous and they make you blind.
I like this paper, maybe is because it's green and I love green.
we have always had cats, and i've come across the mean ones before but i find that male cats are a lot nicer than female cats. it's unfortunate that some people have such views of cats though, because they are lovely companions. i sure love snugglin' with 'em
AWwwwwwwwww. I really REALLY mean AWwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww w!
I wish I could afford the obscene Pet Fee for my apartment complex. $500 is more than I can afford. Damn THEM!
I really like this one. Reminds me of my cat I had when I was a kid. Good days. Thanks for bringing back good memories.

I love the expression on her face, it mixes a happiness at spending time with her cat, but it also shows her thinking "ok, I've got to move now, kitty..." but not doing so because the (absolutely adorable) cat is so happy where it's at.
Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it.
Each day we will feature 10 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
Please FULL VIEW all these amazing pieces of ART. Visit the artists pages and give them a :+fav and your support. Thank you for taking the time........
