from my fragments project. basic concept is that i gather information from real life and combine them randomly to make these pieces. all the people that i draw are based on real people, and the words from real conversations or books or music, backgrounds from places i've been or seen... and so on.

materials used: authentic aged paper, pencil/graphite, gouache, old frames.

i don't use a very sharp tip, and i usually start off with very light shades (4H) and work my way darker.
