so this is taxi/scott mcmicken from the band dr. dog. which is a really awesome band that is starting to gain more popularity, surely due to them touring a bit with wilco right now. check out their website here.

the drawing and writing was all drawn by hand, and i scanned some old paper of mine and added the drawings and colors in photoshop. it was mostly an experiment to see if i could give my drawings the same look by using photoshop instead of doing it all by hand. i like the outcome.

text is from the song "ain't it strange" by dr. dog, of course. and the title of the piece is also a dr. dog song.

i highly recommend this band, i can listen to them for days
